Registration for our Summer 2023 semester is now open. La Academia is offering a variety of programs for various levels and objectives.
AF Monterey’s Team Edge and Player’s Edge programs focus on developing young soccer players into well-rounded, confident athletes. The Team Edge program is designed to cultivate vital skills like teamwork, communication, and strategy in a team environment, fostering trust and unity among teammates. Coaches in this program receive mentorship and video review opportunities from Academia staff. Meanwhile, the Player’s Edge program aims to unlock an individual player’s full potential by offering training modules covering technical skills, athletic development, mental strength, and goalkeeper training.
Enrollment in Team Edge is limited to teams by invitation and requires a minimum enrollment size. Through participation in either program, young athletes can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the game, improve their skills, and increase their confidence on the field. With experienced coaches using innovative techniques, these programs help athletes build a strong foundation while pushing their boundaries and achieving personal growth.
